Please note before installing: CCH ViewPlan uses MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components) to control its database. If the CCH ViewPlan installation detects that MDAC is not installed or that a version older than 2.5 exists, then the CCH ViewPlan installer will install MDAC before continuing. This may require the Terminal Server to be rebooted. For additional information on installing MDAC on Terminal Server, please see the documents below.
• If you are using Terminal Server 4.0 it is not necessary to install Phase 1 in Install Mode.
a. Go to Start > Run
b. Type (substitute CD-ROM path for “D:”): D:\Setup.exe
c. Click OK. Installation will start.• If you are using Windows Server 2000 with Terminal Services
a. Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
b. Click on Add New Programs.
c. Click on CD or Floppy button
d. Click Next.
e. Browse to the CD location and select Setup.exe.
f. Click Open.
g. Click Next. Installation will start.• If you are using Windows Server 2003 with Terminal Services
a. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
b. Click on Add New Programs.
c. Click on CD or Floppy button
d. Click Next.
e. Browse to the CD location and select Setup.exe.
f. Click Open.
g. Click Next. Installation will start. (If prompted to run application, click Yes)
• If you are using either Terminal Server 4.0 or Windows Server 2000 with Terminal Services

e. Browse to the location where the Phase 1 installation was installed.
f. Open the Setup folder and select Setup.exe

How to obtain serial number and license code
To obtain your serial number and license code, you can use the Unlock Codes self-service tool located on our My Account support site. Just sign in to My Account, click on Manage Accounts then select Unlock Codes from the "Select an Action" menu on the right-hand side of the screen. If you are new to My Account, you will need to register prior to using My Account for the first time.
