The edits I make in a CCH Axcess™ Tax letter are not staying after saving and calculating the return.
Most often, the cause of this issue is the edit was done outside of an existing paragraph in the letter. For the change to be registered and saved, the cursor must be in an existing paragraph before inputting the changes. You can tell you are in a paragraph when the paragraph displays a box surrounding the text with a letter P in the corner.
To remove a paragraph completely you will need to delete the blank line above and below the paragraph, then delete the text inside the paragraph box leaving the paragraph box in the letter as the blank line between the paragraphs that were also removed.
If this does not resolve the issue then MS Word Add-in not having been installed properly.
