Transferring your profiles from CCH® IntelliForms® 2014 to the latest release of CCH® IntelliForms® consists of two steps:

1. Exporting profiles from CCH® IntelliForms® 2014
2. Importing profiles into the latest release of CCH® IntelliForms®

The video below explains why you must transfer your profiles. It also walks you through the steps for migrating your profiles. These steps are also provided in text below for your convenience.

Exporting Profiles from CCH® IntelliForms® 2014

1. If needed, create a folder where you want to save the export file.
2. Open CCH® IntelliForms® 2014.
3. Click the Profiles tab.
4. Select Profiles > Export All Profiles.
   • The Select File for Profile Export window displays.
5. Click Browse to navigate to the folder where you want to save the export file.
6. Click Save in the Select File for Profile Export window.
   • A file called Profiles.csv is created from the export.

Importing Profiles into Latest Release of CCH® IntelliForms®

1. Open the latest release of CCH® IntelliForms®.
2. Click the Profiles tab.
3. Select Profiles > Import Profile Data.
4. In the Select Import window, select CCH® IntelliForms®.
5. Click Next.
6. In the Select Profile File to Import window, navigate to and select the Profiles.csv file you exported.
7. Click Open.
   • The Import Profiles window displays a list of profiles available for import. Note that there are three tabs for Individual, Business, and Preparer profiles.
8. Under each tab, select the items you want to import, or select Import at the top to select all the profiles on that tab.
   • The Exists column will display Yes if you already imported or created the profile.
9. Click Continue.
   • Your profiles are added to CCH® IntelliForms®.
