What are Document Types in CCH Axcess Document?
- Document type is created at the firm level and is the third classification for a file, with class and subclass being the first and second classifications.
- A document type can be applied to files at any level (firm, office, business unit, staff, clients and other entities).
- Document type is an optional classification.
- Document type is not specific to entity types. The same document types will appear every time a file is added into Document.
