I don't have hyperlinks when trying to direct edit from the CCH ProSystem fx Document home page, my browse button missing with a black or red x in its place.

Ensure that Document Drive is installed. 

  • The Document Drive is required to enable the direct edit feature.

To resolve this issue, complete the following:

  1. Contact support to receive copies of these files: 
    • Change IE Settings.exe
    • Set Trust.bat
    • Set Security .Net 4.5 workaround.bat
  2. Save all files locally.
  3. Right-click each file and click Run As Administrator.
    • The Change IE Settings file will require entering the Document server name.
  4. Log in to Document and verify all hyperlinks.
  5. Verify existence of the browse button in the "Add Document" window.
