How do I create portals in batch in CCH Axcess Portal (Standalone)?

Batch portal creation can be entered on screen manually or with a template.

Follow the steps below in order to create a batch without a template:

  1. Open and log in to CCH Axcess Portal as a user with Firm Administration rights.
  2. Click the Administration tab and select Manage portal.
  3. Click Batch Portal Creation.
  4. When prompted if you want to import a template click No.
  5. Fill in each field from left to right with the portal information. (Pfx Client ID, File Expiration Period, File Expiration Unit and Client Area are optional fields).
  6. Click Add to create a new row.
  7. Once all desired portals have been added to the list click Evaluate.
  8. Any discrepancies will appear with a red X in the status column, hover over the red X in order to see which error exists.
  9. Click Continue when no errors exist in the status column.
  10. Click Yes or No if you want to download a process log.

Follow the steps below in order to create a batch with a template:

  1. Open and log in to CCH Axcess Portal as a user with Firm Administration rights.
  2. Click the Administration tab and select Manage portal.
  3. Click Portal Creation Template.
  4. Open the PortalCreationTemplate.xls spreadsheet.
  5. Click the Instructions tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet for instructions on how to use the template.
  6. Enter your portal information in the Data tab.
  7. Save the file locally.
  8. Click Batch Portal Creation.
  9. When prompted if you want to import a template click Yes.
  10. Browse to the saved template and click Open.
  11. Click Yes or No when prompted if you want to disable e-mail notifications.
  12. Click Yes or No if you want to download a process log.
