How do I create a custom form in CCH Axcess Workstream?

When a custom form due date is added to a template or project, the due date is calculated for the project automatically using the year-end information provided for the client.
  1. From the Dashboard, select Application Links > Firm > Lists
  2. Select Workstream Lists.
  3. Select Form Due Dates from the Workstream section..
  4. Click New at the top left of the screen.
  5. Enter a form ID and name.
  6. Select the taxing authority in the Agency field.
  7. Enter a description, if needed.
  8. Select if the date basis for calculating the due date is Fiscal Year End or Calendar Year End.
    • Note: Select the Frequency if form is Calendar Year End Enter Due Dates. If you select Calendar Year End as the date basis and Quarterly or Monthly as the frequency, you can enter dates for one instance of the form and then click Auto Set Up to populate the rest of the due dates.
  9. Select the entity type for the form.
  10. In the Rules for due date calculation section, specify each of the following as needed. Extension dates aren't required, but if no extension is listed, the form cannot be extended in Workstream.
    • Original due date
    • First extension date
    • Second extension date
  11. Select Save and Close.
