There is no option in CCH Axcess™ Tax to utilize duplex printing. Paper returns cannot be filed to taxing authorities using 2-sided printing. 

To print returns on both sides of the page, the option for duplex or 2-sided printing must be enabled in the printer driver itself. 
Print driver configuration varies, depending on the manufacturer. You may need to check the manufacturer's support page for specific instructions.

• For HP® printers, the option to print on both sides of the page is generally located in Printing Preferences > Finishing.  

CCH Axcess™ Tax uses the default printing settings.

To change:

1. Access the Control Panel on the user's computer.
2. Click on Devices and Printers.
   • The View by may need to be changed from Category to Small icons or Large icons.
3. Right-click on the printer being used.
4. Click on Printer properties.
5. Click on Advanced tab at top of properties window.
6. Click on Printing Defaults.
7. Change Pages per Sheet (1 to disable and 2 to enable duplex)
   • Some printers may have a box for duplex printing that needs to be unchecked. 
8. Click Apply and then OK to save changes. 

NOTE: If the steps above do not resolve the issue, users will need to reach out to there firm's IT professional and/or the printer manufacturer as CCH Support cannot change printer settings and is not trained on hardware issues.
