Why does the Year End Procedure window say "Not Responding" in Practice Management?

It is completely normal for the screen on the machine running the Year End process to display "Not Responding." That window, on that computer, is what is not responding, not the Year End Procedure process. That is still running on your server, within the database. The Year End Procedure process will complete.

Warning: Do not end task on this process.



If you do end task while the Year End Procedure is processing, you will be forced to restore to a backup of your database
