To download a Program Scan, complete the following:

1. Open https://support.cch.com/updates/Tax/.
2. Click Download file to download the scan.
   • Click Release Notes for a description of what the scan searches for and instructions on how to run it.
3. You will be prompted to log into the support.cch.com website. 
4. Enter your e-mail address and password and click Sign In.
   • See our article for instructions on how to create a support.cch.com login.
5. If Internet Explorer prompts, click on the yellow warning bar and click Download File.
6. A window will appear asking if you want to Run or Save the file, click Run.
7. If another security warning appears asking to Run or Don't Run, click Run.
8. The WinZip Self Extractor window will appear.
9. Under the "Unzip to folder:," ensure it shows "?:\Wfx32"  
   • Where ?:\ is the location of the CCH ProSystem fx Tax installation drive.
   • Be aware, it will default to c:\Wfx32.
10. Click Unzip.
    • Upon completion, another "Winzip Self-Extractor" window will open, "[file(s)] unzipped successfully".
11. Click OK.
12. Using the Release Notes for the scan, click Start > Run.
13. Run the ".BAT" file the instructions indicate to run. 
14. These instructions should be listed in the "To run this scan:" section of the Release Notes.
