To migrate client data from PortalSafe™ to CCH iFirm Client Portal, do the following:

1. Import or manually enter your clients into iFirm. 
   • ATX™ users, see How do I export my ATX™ contacts to CCH iFirm?
   • TaxWise® users, see How do I import contacts in CCH iFirm from TaxWise®?
   • For a generic import, see How do I import my contacts from my tax program to CCH iFirm?​

3. Download and install the attached Migration Utility Tool or click this link.
4. Download the attached Migration Guide or click this link.
5. Follow the instructions in the Migration Guide to migrate your client data.

Note
If you have clients in PortalSafe™ that are not already in your tax program, those clients must be entered into CCH iFirm before migration.
