The Remember Password box has been removed from the CCH Axcess™ login window.
Please be aware that the CCH Axcess software will no longer provide the option to remember a user’s password each time they log in.
Rather, every user will now be required to enter their password each time they log in to the CCH Axcess applications. Users who have previously used the Remember Password option and do not remember their password can click Forgot Password on the CCH Axcess Login window to receive a temporary password.
Should a staff member’s user ID become locked due to multiple failed login attempts, staff should contact your firm administrator, rather than contacting CCH Axcess support, to resolve the issue as the administrator should have the tools to reset the password.
- Note: Your firm may have set your user browser configuration to allow the browser’s AutoComplete feature to save your password. If that is the case, it is outside of our control and our removal of the Remember Password option from the CCH Axcess application will not prevent your password from being saved.
We also encourage you to start the process of requiring staff to key in their password prior to this application change for CCH Axcess by disabling the firm option now if the option is currently enabled.
Wolters Kluwer will provide a follow-up communication once this change has been enforced within the application.
