How do I enter self-employed health insurance deduction for passthroughs in an Individual return using interview forms?

If using K-1 through K-12 series:

  1. Go to Federal Interview Form K-1 - K-1 General, Income, Deductions, Investments Interest & SE Information.
    1. In box 161 - Self-employment earnings (loss) (see guide), enter the amount.
    2. In box 164 - SE health insurance premium, enter the amount.
  2. Calculate the return.

 

If using IRS-K-1-1065:

  1. Go to Federal Interview Form IRS-K1 1065 - Schedule K-1.
    1. In box 156 - 13M. Amounts paid for medical insurance, enter the amount.
    2. In box 192 - 14A. Net earnings (loss) from self-employment, enter the amount.
  2. Calculate the return.

 

If using IRS-K-1-1120S:

  1. Go to Federal Interview Form IRS-K1 1120S - Schedule K-1.
    1. In box 369 - Wages received, enter the amount.
    2. In box 386 - Amounts paid for medical insurance, enter the amount.
  2. Calculate the return.
