How do I find out when a form will be available in CCH® IntelliForms®?

IntelliForms includes a Forms Release Schedule that lists the dates when we expect forms will be approved for paper filing.

To access the Forms Release Schedule, go to Support > Forms Release Schedule.

The Forms Release Schedule view lists federal forms at the beginning and state forms towards the end. Sorting is first by form number and then by form name.

The meanings of the statuses in the Current Status column are as follows:

  • "Not Available" means the federal or state agency has not yet released its final version of the form.
  • "Draft" means the federal or state agency has released its final version of the form, but the IntelliForms version is not yet approved for paper filing or printing. If you open the form in IntelliForms, a Draft watermark displays.
  • "Approved" means the form is now available in IntelliForms and is approved for printing and paper filing.

The meanings of the statuses in the Estimated Approved column are as follows:

  • "Not Released from Tax Agency" means the taxing agency has not released the new form.
  • "Final Pending from Tax Agency" means the taxing agency has only released a draft version of the form.
  • A date means the date the form is expected to be available in interactive format within IntelliForms.
  • "Approved" means the form is available in IntelliForms and is approved for printing or paper filing. Approved forms remain in the Forms Release Schedule for one week after the form has been released to IntelliForms.
