When CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan and  CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer are licensed and Installed Together

This video​ shows how to update your CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan and CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer license. Before updating the license (the permission key or "permkey"), you must first download the current permkey. Use the Software Delivery Manager to download the permission key; see our article "How do I download a permission key for CCH® ProSystem fx® products?" for the steps to do this before updating your product's Permkey

To update the licenses for CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan and CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer bundled with CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan, do the following:

1. Install the CCH Software Delivery Manager.  How do I install CCH Software Delivery Manager?
2. Download the permkey.
3. Launch CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan Administrator.
4. On the menu bar, click File > Update License.
5. Click Browse.
6. Navigate to and select the permkey you previously downloaded.
7. Click Open.
8. Click OK.
9. .Upon successful update, you should see a prompt that states you were successful. Click OK.

When Only CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer Standalone Server is Installed

This video​ shows how to update your CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer license (CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer only, as this video is not applicable if you also use CCH® ProSystem fx® Scan).

To update the license for PDFlyer Standalone, do the following:

1. Install the CCH Software Delivery Manager.  How do I install CCH Software Delivery Manager?
2. Download the permkey.
3. Navigate to ?:\Program Files (x86)\CCH ProSystem fx PDFlyer Server\Programs  (where ? is the drive on which CCH® ProSystem fx® PDFlyer Server is installed).
4. Double-click PDFlyerLicenseDownload.exe.
5. Click Browse.
6. Select the permkey file.
7. Click Open.
8. Click Update.
9. Upon successful update, you should see a prompt that states you were successful. Click OK.
