When upgrading any Microsoft Windows version, it is important to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. Microsoft has a couple of important articles to review both before and after upgrade.

When upgrading a workstation with CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Axcess software installed, it is recommended that all CCH ProSystem fx or CCH Axcess products are removed prior to upgrade. It is not supported to upgrade the operating system while the CCH ProSystem fx software is still installed.
Once the upgrade has completed, review the integrity checklist if any issues arise when reinstalling software. If you need information on reinstalling the CCH software, you can refer to some of the articles below for our common products.
