The video below shows how to add or modify your Electronic Filing Identification Number (EFIN) in the TaxWise Solution Center.

To verify that we have the correct EFIN on file, do the following:

1. Go to the TaxWise Solution Center.
2. Login with your Client ID, Admin username, and your password.
3. Click My Information > Submit My EFIN Information.

To add or modify your EFIN, do the following:

1. Go to the TaxWise Solution Center.
2. Login with your Client ID, Admin username, and your password.
3. Click My Information > Submit My EFIN Information.
4. Click Request New EFIN.
5. To accept the terms and conditions, do the following:     
   1. Select I accept.
   2. Enter your email address in the Signed by email box.        

• Click Manage Users > Edit (for the Admin user) to verify the email address. Copy and paste this email address.

6. Press the Tab or Enter key.
7. Enter the EFIN, EFIN holder's first and last name in the appropriate fields.
8. Click Choose File to browse for a copy of your IRS EFIN Letter.    

• You must attach a PDF copy of the IRS EFIN Letter. You can upload a copy of your IRS e-File Application Summary page from your IRS e-Services account if you do not have access to the original EFIN letter. 

9. Click Submit.

Notes:     

• If you encounter any issues when uploading your EFIN letter, please email it to sfs.efinar@wolterskluwer.com
• You will receive an e-mail containing your updated codes for your software. That e-mail will come from customer.support@cchsfs.com with UNLOCK CODE in the subject line. Your Registration Code may also be referred to as REG CODE or REGCODE. If you do not receive this e-mail within 24 hours, contact Customer Service.
• Though the ability to e-file with your updated EFIN(s) is usually activated within 4 hours, it could take up to 24 hours to complete your request.
