"You do not have permission to access this product" in CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document.
Ensure in the Microsoft Windows Active Directory that the user is setup with a First Name, Last Name, Email Address (including in the General Profile) and is a member of the security group that has been linked in Document.

- Launch Dashboard > Application Links > Staff > Staff Manager.
- If this is a new user that needs to be added click Add new user from AD.
- Select the user and click Import.
- To relink a returning user click Manage Staff using AD.
- Click Next to the third screen where you can then link the user from AD to a user in AD.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Refresh the list in Staff Manager.
- Double-click the staff user to open them.
- On the left click Security Groups and assign a group.
- On the left, click License/Product Access.and assign a license.
- Click Save and Close.
- If the user still cannot login verify that the security group under functional rights, Document, Client has these options set to Grant.
CCH® ProSystem fx® Document:
- Launch Dashboard > Configuration > Staff > Staff Manager
- If this is a new user that needs to be added click Add new user from AD.
- Select the user and click Import.
- To relink a returning user click Manage Staff using AD.
- Click Next to the third screen where you can then link the user from AD to a user in AD.
- Click Next.
- Click Finish.
- Refresh the list in Staff Manager.
- Double-click the staff user to open them.
- On the left click Security Groups and assign a group.
- On the left, click License/Product Access.and assign a license.
- Click Save and Close.
- If the user still cannot login verify that the security group under functional rights, Document, Client has these options set to Grant.
