Ensure in the Microsoft Windows Active Directory that the user is setup with a First Name, Last Name, Email Address (including in the General Profile) and is a member of the security group that has been linked in Document.

CCH Axcess™:

1. Launch Dashboard > Application Links > Staff > Staff  Manager.
2. If this is a new user that needs to be added click Add new user from AD.
3. Select the user and click Import.
4. To relink a returning user click Manage Staff using AD.
5. Click Next to the third screen where you can then link the user from AD to a user in AD.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.
8. Refresh the list in Staff Manager.
9. Double-click the staff user to open them.
10. On the left click Security Groups and assign a group.
11. On the left, click License/Product Access.and assign a license.
12. Click Save and Close.

• If the user still cannot login verify that the security group under functional rights, Document, Client has these options set to Grant.

CCH® ProSystem fx® Document:

1. Launch Dashboard > Configuration > Staff > Staff Manager
2. If this is a new user that needs to be added click Add new user from AD.
3. Select the user and click Import.
4. To relink a returning user click Manage Staff using AD.
5. Click Next to the third screen where you can then link the user from AD to a user in AD.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Finish.
8. Refresh the list in Staff Manager.
9. Double-click the staff user to open them.
10. On the left click Security Groups and assign a group.
11. On the left, click License/Product Access.and assign a license.
12. Click Save and Close.

• If the user still cannot login verify that the security group under functional rights, Document, Client has these options set to Grant.
