Error Message

You receive the error "An error occurred while updating one or more forms. Refer to the KB article to resolve the issue." error when opening a tax return and the system is attempting to download tax forms.

Cause

The DCS service is unable to download and update all of the form data to keep the workstation in sync with the program server.

Resolution

Click Yes to repair your cache for the return type and year, and then open the return.

If the issue is not resolved, ensure that the CCH Axcess DCS Service is running on the workstation.

• If the CCH Axcess DCS Service is not listed in Services then a reinstall of the program is needed.  How do I install, repair, uninstall, or download CCH Axcess™ products?

If the DCS services is running then you will need to clear the DCS Cache manually.

If the issue persist, uninstall and reinstall all of CCH Axcess using the Install and Update Manager.
