CCH® ProSystem fx® Document or CCH Axcess™ Document add-ins are inactive when I open Microsoft® Office?
This may occur variously for Microsoft® Word, Microsoft® Excel® or Microsoft® Outlook®.
You manage slow and disabled Add-ins by doing the following:
- Verify the add-in is inactive and not disabled.
- Uninstall and reinstall the specific add-in.
- Check the LoadBehavior registry key.
- Note: This should only be done by an IT Professional.
- Note: [Specific program] refers to Outlook, Word, or Excel
- It is located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\[Specific program]\Addins\Cch.Pfx.OfficeAddin.Core.[Specific program]
- Change the LoadBehavior value to 3.
- Uninstall and reinstall the Office Framework.
- Log in to the computer as a different Microsoft® Windows® user.
You manage slow and disabled Add-ins by doing the following:
- Open Microsoft® Outlook®.
- Click File.
- Click Manage Add-Ins.
- You should see Cch.Pfx.OfficeAddin.Core.Outlook in the list as a detected problem.
- Select Always enable this add-in.
