How do I add a new Year and Year Folder in CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document?

A new future or prior year can be added by the firm at any time, and the firm can add multiple years if desired. CCH Axcess™ and CCH® ProSystem fx® Document will create a new Year (and a corresponding Year Folder) automatically in October, for the coming tax season, if it hasn't already been created by the firm.


CCH Axcess™ Document:
  1. Launch CCH Axcess™ Dashboard > Application Links > Document Lists > Years > New
  2. Enter the Year.
  3. Press the Tab key and close the window.
CCH® ProSystem fx® Document:
  1. Launch CCH® ProSystem fx® Dashboard > Configuration > Document > Lists > Document Lists > Years > New.
  2. Enter the Year.
  3. Press the Tab key and close the window.
After creating the new Year, a new Year folder will automatically appear in the Folder Templates at the bottom of the listing of folders. If you want to change the sort order, see How do I change the sort order of folders in CCH Axcess Document or CCH ProSystem fx Document?
