How do I delete a tax client link in CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document?

It's possible to print a return from one tax client to a different client in CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document. This is known as a Client Link, and if it's incorrect or no longer needed, you can delete it and re-link different clients.

In CCH Axcess™ Document:
  1. Launch CCH Axcess™ Dashboard > Application Links > Clients > Client Manager.
  2. In the bottom-left of the window, click Client Links (not Clients)
  3. Search client by client ID.
  4. Highlight the client.
  5. Near the middle of the toolbar above, click Delete Links.

In CCH® ProSystem fx® Document:
  1. Launch CCH® ProSystem fx® Dashboard > Configuration > Client Manager >  Client
  2. In the bottom-left of the window, click Client Links (not Clients)
  3. Search client by client ID.
  4. Highlight the client.
  5. Near the middle of the toolbar above, click Delete Links.
If you delete a Client Link for a return you need to print, during the next tax return printing you should be prompted to choose a client to whom you wish to print the return (in either CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document).
