How do I grant permission to create and delete custom folders in CCH Axcess™ or CCH® ProSystem fx® Document?

The following steps explain how to create a new Security Group and assign only these rights; if you need to edit an existing Security Group to include these additional rights, skip the first two steps and open the existing Security Group for editing.

CCH Axcess™:
  1. Launch Dashboard Application Links > Security groups > New.
  2. Enter a name for the new group on the General tab.
  3. Click the Functional rights tab.
  4. Click Document > Client.
  5. Scroll to Client profile.
  6. Click Custom Folders.
  7. In the Add, Edit, and Delete columns, select Grant.
  8. Click Save and Close.
  9. Have the user close all Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat windows and log out of all CCH Axcess™ products, then log in for changes to take effect.
CCH® ProSystem fx® Document:
  1. Launch Dashboard > Configuration > Security > Security Groups
  2. Enter a name for the new group on the General tab.
  3. Click the Functional rights tab.
  4. Click Document > Client.
  5. Scroll to Client profile.
  6. Click Custom Folders.
  7. In the Add, Edit, and Delete columns, select Grant.
  8. Click Save and Close.
  9. Have the user close all Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat windows and log out of CCH® ProSystem fx® Document, then log in for changes to take effect.
