"File Share has been disabled." when registering as a new user for File Share with CCH® Site Builder.

End users of US Firms utilizing File Share click on a link in emails notifying them of their new File Share account being created are receiving the error  "File Share has been disabled. Please note that File Share has been disabled. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Do not hesitate to contact us for more information or assistance."

We are aware of this issue. The issue will be corrected in an upcoming release of Site Builder.
To resolve the issue, do the following:
  1. Sign into File Share as an administrator user.
  2. Click User Administration.
  3. Click Edit to the far right of the user line.
  4. Set a password.
  5. Confirm the password.
  6. Click Submit.
  7. Ask the user to go to your website and click the File Share link.
Once they enter their email address and the supplied password, they will have access.
