Procedure
2-Step Verification does not affect how you log in to your various ProSystem fx® applications. You will log into your applications the same as you always have.
2-Step Verification affects when you log into an application that is hosted online such as Software Delivery Manager, Electronic Filing Status, CCH® My1040Data Toolkit, or Outsource.
Software Delivery Manager is used to download many ProSystem fx® applications and updates. While 2-Step Verification does not affect how you log into your ProSystem fx® applications, you will use it when downloading your licensed applications, updates, or permission key files using Software Delivery Manager.
We recommend creating separate single sign-on (SSO) profiles for any user that uses Software Delivery Manager or any of the other hosted applications listed above.
