CCH Software News - Notice to Discontinue Support of Microsoft Server 2012/Server 2012 R2

Dear CCH Customer:

As your software partner, we strive to provide you with the highest security possible when accessing our products and websites. We can only do that by supporting the most recent versions provided through our supported environment vendors.

At Wolters Kluwer, we are adopting the policy of working within the latest two versions currently released in the market for these supported environments. While we may not always be aligned with this policy due to release timing, our goal is to either follow the vendor lifecycle policy or support the last two vendor versions, and discontinue support for anything older.

Now that Microsoft® Server 2019 is released and officially supported by the majority of our products, please be advised that CCH will be discontinuing support for Microsoft® Server 2012/Server 2012 R2 as of November 30, 2019. We are providing advanced notice in an effort to give our clients ample time to upgrade to the latest version of Microsoft® Server.

This does not mean our products will automatically stop working with these older versions. However, if there are functionality issues on non-supported environments, CCH will not provide support or address by making changes to our applications for these older non-supported environments.

It is imperative that you upgrade your old supported environments to ensure continued access without interruption to CCH's products and services.

Note: This notice regarding discontinued support for Microsoft® Server 2012/Server 2012 R2 will have no implications on the upcoming 2018 tax filing season. Additional reminders will be sent out post April 15, 2019.
