Annual Subscription. Unless otherwise stated, all subscriptions/licenses are based on an annual term and invoiced at the time of this Order Form start date or each renewal.  Pricing is based on the number of unique non-finalized and finalized line items processed through CCH SureTax. There is a standard line item usage report in the CCH SureTax report library that can be run at any time for these totals.

Additional Information

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is an overage? Why do I have overages?
    1. Overages occur when consumption is over levels stated in your contract. We review overages on a quarterly basis.
Example: If your 12-month contract is for 5,000–10,000 line items, we will take 10,000 line items and divide that by 4 to equal 2,500 line items per quarter consumption. If at the end of quarter 2, you consume 3,000 line items, then you have gone over your usage by 500. Overages will be charged $800 for every 1,000 line items, over your contract.
  1. Why bill quarterly instead of at the end of the contract?
    1. Our clients have requested us to provide more visibility with their usage throughout their contract period. This allows for better budgeting on their behalf, and keeps from being a surprise bill at the end of the contract.
  2. How can I move from one tier (subscription level) to another?
    1. We recommend speaking with your Sales Representative to determine if changing tiers is the best option for you.
  3. I had overages last quarter, but I am under this quarter. Do I get a credit/refund?
    1. No, we review each client’s usage on a quarterly basis.
Example: If your 12-month contract is for 5,000–10,000 line items, we will take 10,000 line items/4 = 2,500 line items per quarter consumption. If at the end of quarter 2, you consume 3,000 line items, then you have gone over your usage by 500. Overages will be charged $800 for every 1,000 line items, over your contract.
  1. I am a retail customer and my consumption vary from quarter to quarter. If my usage is over one quarter, but under the next, am I responsible for overage fees?
    1. We review each client’s usage on a quarterly basis.
  1. If I am billed overages quarterly, can I have a quarter‑to-quarter contract?
    1. Our agreements are based on an annual basis and thus an annual consumption; which is reviewed on a quarterly basis.
  2. Can I move to another tier in the middle of my contract period?
    1. At this time, we are unable to accommodate a mid-year change, which is why we monitor usage on a quarterly basis to avoid surprise billing. Thus, clients can review and make decisions which tier (subscription level) suits their needs.
