Provided credentials could not be authenticated Displayed in Batch Progress tab of CCH Axcess™ Client Collaboration

Symptoms

Sending a batch of Organizers in to CCH Axcess™ Client Collaboration and they all show an error: "Provided credentials could not be authenticated."

Environment

Cause

N/A

Resolution

 eSign setup is incorrect.:
  • It could be not setup at all,
  • or it could be using an old / invalid email address that is not associated with Axcess anymore.

To check the setup of eSign, or set it up initially: 
  1. From the main Dashboard Application Links
  2. Go to Firm - Settings and defaults. 
  3. Click eSign on the left
  4.  At the bottom of the page will be a link to Manage eSign account
  5. This will launch a web page for the AssureSign site. Log in and verify the email addresses that are setup.
