We Are Experiencing A Temporary Connection Issue when logging into CCH Axcess™ Client Collaboration

Symptoms

Firm employees receive Red error at the top of the Client Collaboration website when logging in
Firm Employee receives Red error stating 'We are experiencing a temporary connection issue. Please try again in a few minutes'
 

Environment

CCH Axcess™ Client Collaboration

Cause

Several reasons cause this:

  1. If it is a brand new employee and they have never logged into CCH Axcess to change their temporary password, they will need to first log into CCH Axcess and finish their user setup including changing the temporary password and setting up the forgot password security questions.

  2. The employee may not have enough permissions. If the employee is not part of the Full Rights security group, then check this article for minimum permissions needed for them to use Client Collaboration. What are the minimum permissions needed for CCH Axcess™ Client Collaboration
