When will direct debit be in place for the extended deadline for returns in CCH Axcess™ Tax and CCH® ProSystem fx® Tax?

Answer

Direct debit cannot be used for delayed payments until the IRS and/or states revise the associated business rules. This provision was put in the software on release 2020.03020.

The Direct Deposit/Debit report in the software will reflect the May 17, 2021 debit date.
