Procedure

Delete and Restore Deliverables

When a deliverable has been marked for deletion in a specific Task, CCH Axcess Workflow marks the deliverable “for deletion” (also known as a soft-delete) and does not delete it immediately. This feature helps you to decide whether to permanently delete a deliverable or to restore it if the original deletion was unintended. 

To delete or restore a Deliverable, do the following:
  1. Click the Utilities menu User-added image,
  2. Select Delete & Purge Utilities > Delete & Restore Deliverables.
  3. In the Delete & Restore Deliverables page, specify the criteria such as Last Name/Entity Name, Originating Location, Account Number, Type of Task and Current Location to search for deliverables. 
  4. Click Search to display the tasks with the given search criteria.
    • The deletion information is displayed in the Deleted By and Deleted On columns.
  5. Select the check box beside the name of the client(s) for whom the deliverable is applicable.
  6. Click Delete or Restore as required.
    • When choosing Delete the following message will appear: You are about to delete selected Deliverable/s. Do you want to proceed?
    • Click OK to proceed. 


Download Deleted Deliverables and Export to Excel

You can download the deleted deliverables that are displayed as a result of the search when you click Export to Excel.
