The CCH Axcess Data Axcess Utility and CCH Axcess Data Axcess Dashboards allow accounting firms to create impactful custom reports and data visualizations. Wolters Kluwer is committed to supporting the data warehouse infrastructure and standard reports that are packaged with these products. However, support does not include assistance in writing or troubleshooting the custom code, queries, or reports that you create. You may contact your solution consultant regarding Power BI training or customized professional services.
Data Axcess includes the following major components:
- Data Axcess Utility Sync – Downloads information from Wolters Kluwer and updates the firm hosted database.
- Data Axcess Utility Manager – Displays sync job history and allows you to configure DAU options
- Data Axcess Utility Report Library – Commonly used standard reports that can help you manage your firm. These reports have options that can affect their content but cannot be customized.
- Data Axcess Dashboards – Microsoft PowerBI files that you can customize and extend to suit your needs.
Data Axcess support includes:
- Questions about the data warehouse structure and where that data in generated in CCH Axcess
- Configuring DAU features, such as Sync Options
- Interpreting sync job history and log files
- Troubleshooting installation issues
Data Axcess Utility support does not include:
- Microsoft SQL server installation or administration
- Assistance writing or troubleshooting custom queries or custom reports
- Interpreting or adapting the SQL views (query logic) used by the library reports
- Using Power BI Desktop or the related cloud services
