Procedure

Automatic Rollover
While Rollover provides a global method of creating new tasks by selecting previous year tasks and creating new ones based on their properties it is a manual process.

Automatic rollover however, allows the firm to set a schedule at the task level for projects to be rolled by XCM when the previous project has been moved to the completed status.
When projects are moved to the completed status, CCH Axcess Workflow creates the next PE’s task instantly.
  • On the My View page, click the Utility Gear.
  • Select Manage Task Type utility.
  • Double-click the check box next to the Task Type Code heading in the grid to clear all check boxes.
  • Select the check boxes you would like to schedule.
  • Bulk setup is allowed within this feature.
  • Click Auto Rollover.
  • A new window will appear with your auto rollover options.
  • Select the options necessary for this setup.
  • Change the New Period End Date to Annual Projects.
    • Note: The New Period End Date is defaulted to Daily.
  • Click Apply.
