Symptoms

User experiences an error when logging into CCH Axcess™.

Full Error Message

"Could not load file or assembly "System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe, Version=5.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."

Cause

This issue is caused by missing files on some computers after updating CCH Axcess. Computers where CCH Axcess 2020-4.2 (or earlier) is currently installed may experience this issue after installing updates.
