Procedure

1. On the server, go to the "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XCMClientIntegration" and back up the "XCMClientIntegration" folder

 Backup - Ensure a backup of the existing application is taken, in a separate folder.
(Copy the entire "XCMClientIntegrationfolder from "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\" to a separate location.)

Note: On the server, normally, the XCMClientintegration folder is found under C:/ as a default.
           If the folder is not found under C:\ drive.
           1. Please go to Run
           2. Type IIS(Internet Information Service)
           3. Expand the sites, and navigate to XCM Integration.
           4. Right-click on the XCMIntegration and click on Explore to bring the exact folder location you are looking for.

2. Download the  ZIP files ( XCM-XCMIntegration-Artifact_5.1) attached to this KB article. 
   It contains the XCMClientIntegration updated file.          

    NOTE: This update will also require edits to the Web Config file.  Please note that you will need elevated rights to make the appropriate edits.

3. Extract the ZIP files to your desktop.

4. Copy all the contents from the XCMClientIntegration extracted folder download from KB (XCM-XCMIntegration-Artifact_5.1), except Web.Config 

5. Paste it to XCMClientIntegration folder under the path "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XCMClientIntegration"
   (If prompted for permission to access the folder in Inetpub, click yes.  Additionally, click yes, to overwrite existing files.)        
 
  NOTE: Make sure you are not overwritten on the web.Config file. If Web. Config was mistakenly overwritten during this process, please retrieve the file from the backup taken in step 1 and again replace it with C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XCMClientIntegration

The prompt will appear to replace, click on replace the file in the destination.

6. Update the XCMRestAPI value, follow the below steps.

             Note: If you see the values already exist, you can ignore this step.
          
             Open the Web.Config with notepad.

         7.  Update the Runtime value, please follow the below steps

               a. Go to the path  "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XCMClientIntegration" and open the web.config file using Notepad. 
      b. Download the document (web.config.docx) from the knowledge base attachment. (refer attachments)
      C. Copy the runtime tag content from the Knowledge base document and replace the content in "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\XCMIntegration " web.config file.

Note: If you see the values already exist, you can ignore this step.

8. Restart IIS

 a. Open Command-prompt(Go to Run and type cmd to bring up the command prompt)
 b. Type IISRESET and click on enter, to restart the IIS.
