Procedure
To install the Data Axcess Utility Job Monitor Report in CCH Axcess Data Axcess Utility, do the following:
Step 1: Initial download and installation - [Return to Top]
- Download and install Microsoft® Power BI® Desktop.
- Launch Microsoft® Power BI® Desktop.
- Copy the DAU Job Monitor Report.pbit file to your local hard drive.
- This file can be found in the Job Monitor Report folder that is created during the installation of Data Axcess Utility 2021-4.2a.
- Example: “C:\Data Axcess Utility\Job Monitor Report”.
- Double click the DAU Job Monitor Report.pbit file.
Step 2: Data setup - [Return to Top]
Microsoft® Power BI® will now attempt to connect to the dau-dev-vm-03 database. This is the database used by the DAU development team when creating the Microsoft® Power BI® template file.
To connect the report to your own database, do the following:

- Click Cancel.
- Click Cancel.
- Click Close.
- Click File > Options and settings > Data source settings.
- Click Change source.
- Replace DAU-DEV-VM-O3 with the SQL server name used by DAU, and then click OK.
- Click Close.
- Click Refresh.
- When prompted, enter the username and password for your SQL Server.
Step 3: Save the report - [Return to Top]
- Click File > Save As.
- Choose a location and File name for your Microsoft® Power BI® file.
- Click Save.
