How do I manage my Clients within CCH Axcess Workflow?

Details

'Manage Clients/Entities' presents a consolidated view of the clients available for the logged-in user of the firm and provisions for the addition and updating of new and existing clients. If there are a huge number of clients, a group of the first 10000 client rows is displayed in tabular(grid) format. To enhance usability, filters are available to narrow down the search criteria for desired clients. 
Below are the different operations that you can perform on the view: 
  1. Create a new client 
           You can create clients in workflow through the “Manage Clients/Entities” utility.  
  • Click the “Add Client/Entities” button image.png
  • Enter client details in the new row highlighted in the grid image.png
  • Click on Save image.png
The newly created client would become available on the grid/tabular view below for further updates. 

Note  1. The initial load of the Manage Clients utility will show the top 10000 client rows. Please use the filter to see the full count. 
         
2.  Responsible person is not a mandatory field to create a client. After creating a client please click on the role symbol

           3.  Please use the group filter in the grid to search for the group number or nameimage.png
           4.  Now, using the Manage Client utility the clients can be created in bulk. 
                Click on "Add Client/Entity" button to add clients in bulk, enter all the details and click on "Save" button

  1. Search a client 
You can search for specific clients based on the filter criteria below 
  • Status 
  • Originating Location 
  • Client/Entity type 
  • Primary Task Type 
  • Last/Entity Name or number 
You can further narrow down the filtered list through the column-level filter options available. Click on the column header to search for a specific detail in the available list.

  1. Modify existing client(s) 
You can modify any client by selecting a row and tabbing in on the column detail to be updated.  
 
Multiple clients can also be modified together before the final submission. Click one or more clients through the checkboxes, a bulk edit option appears on top of the Grid. On click of the Bulk Edit option, a popup would appear in which you can modify client data.

  1. Navigation 
On the control sheet, navigation to manage clients is available through the client's name. A Single filtered row would enable the view/modification of the selected client.

  1. PM5/6 integration 
If you are using PM5/6 integration, the Clients can be linked or unlinked using the hyperlinks available in the Integration column. This column is available only if you are using PM5/6 integration.

  1. CCH Axcess Integration 
If you have completed the CCH Axcess Client Integration, you can launch the client profile in CCH Axcess Clients Manager using the profile icon available in the table for the desired client.
