A complete backup will consist of  the SQL databases and the storage areas. Depending on your configuration, these components may exist on the same server or separate servers.

On the SQL server, there should be a SQL instance named CCHSUITE that contains the following databases:

LoggingDB

MDSCommonDB

NGCatalogDB

NGDeployRepositoryDB

NGQ_Archive_DB

NGQ_DB

The SQL backup can be as simple as a maintenance plan that backs them all up to a file nightly, and your backup solution will back these up from disk.

On the storage server, there are shared folders named Managed and Extended, typically on a secondary "data" drive. They may be in subfolders named NGShare or DocumentStorage. The Managed and Extended folders must be backed up.
