Objectives
To resend the welcome email for new Portal users
Environment
- CCH Axcess
- CCH Axcess Portal
- CCH Axcess Document
- CCH ProSystem fx Document
Procedure
As long as the email was sent within the past 14 days, you can use this procedure:
- Launch Dashboard.
- Do one of the following, depending on which version of Document you use:
- CCH Axcess Document. Click Application Links on the navigation pane.
- CCH ProSystem fx Document. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
- Click Firm Settings and Defaults under Firm.
- Select Portal > Email Queue.
- Select Portal user created Welcome email from the Select an event to edit list.
- Enter the Client Sort Name in the Search box to the right and click the search button.
- Check the box in the column for Resend Email Notification.
- Click Resend.
- Launch Dashboard.
- Do one of the following, depending on which version of Document you use:
- CCH Axcess Document. Click Application Links on the navigation pane.
- CCH ProSystem fx Document. Click Configuration on the navigation pane.
- Click Firm Settings and Defaults under Firm.
- Select Portal > Email Notifications.
- Select an event to edit.
- Select Portal User created Welcome email.
- At the bottom of the Email Content section, copy the Body information and paste it into a new email. The words that have the <> around them are key words. Those will not fill out so you will have to manually change those to the correct information in your email.
