How do I configure the Communications profile for CCH® ProSystem fx® Tax?

Before completing the following steps, make sure to have the information from your Communication Profile letter. If you do not have this information, open a support case to contact Customer Support.

To enter the Communications Profile information, do the following:
  1. Open Office Manager.
  2. Click Configure Applications.
  3. Select Communications and click Configure.
    • In the Internet settings section, select the Save proxy signon check box.
    • In the Basic profile information section, enter the following:
      • In Data center, enter the three initials for the Data Center located in your communications profile letter.
        • Note: The initials are either LAX or EWR.
      • In Login ID, enter your six digit account number.
        • Note: This is the same number that appears in the Account no field.
      • In Password, enter the password from your communications profile letter.
        • Note: This password is not the same password associated with your Single Sign-On (SSO) login.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Close Office Manager.
Note: Letters for the Data Center and password are case sensitive.
