How do I start, stop, or restart the CCH® ProSystem fx® Engagement or Workpaper Manager services?

The services commonly used by CCH® ProSystem fx® Engagement or Workpaper Manager are listed below:
  • Pfx.Engagement.SocketService
  • Pfx.Engagement.WcfServices
  • PFXEngDesktopService
  • PFXSYNPFTService
  • SQL Server (PROFXENGAGEMENT)
  • SQL Server Browser
Follow the instructions listed below to start or restart the services:
  1. Press Windows + R. The Run Dialog displays.
  2. Type services.msc.
  3. Press Enter. The Services window displays.
