How do I electronically file batch extensions in CCH Axcess™ Tax?

​The video below shows how to electronically file batch extensions using Batch Manager in CCH Axcess™.

Note: Batch Extensions requires separate licensing.  If you are not currently licensed for Batch Extensions please contact Sales. 

Use Batch Manager to electronically file batch extensions.

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. Click Application Links from the left navigation panel.  
  3. Under Tax, click Batch Manager.
  4. On the ribbon, click New Job > Electronic Filing > Extensions.
  5. On the e-File Extensions window, use the drop-down search criteria to filter the returns and click Go.
  6. Select the check box next to each Return ID to select the extension for e-file.
  7. Once the desired extensions are selected, click Continue.
  8. A caution dialog box will appear to regarding the fraud prevention data, click Continue.
  9. On the Electronic Filing Extensions Options window, select the appropriate filing options and select one of the following:
    • Submit Job. (The job will process immediately).
    • Schedule Job. Schedule the job to process at a later time.
