Symptoms

  • Unable to set up a new project because the Client List does not show any clients in CCH Axcess™ Validate.
  • User(s) cannot create a new engagement because the Client List does not show any clients.

Resolution

There are two ways that this can be set up so the staff can see the client list in CCH Axcess Validate
  • Check the "Full Rights" checkbox for each staff on their profile page.
    1. Save.
    2. Check the "Full Rights" checkbox.
    3. Select Security Groups.
    4. Double click on staff to launch their Staff Profile.
    5. Select Staff on bottom left corner.
    6. Launch CCH Axcess Dashboard.
 
  • Create a new security group and change the 'View' option to "Grant"
    1. Launch CCH Axcess Dashboard and log in as an Admin user.
    2. Select Staff on bottom left corner.
    3. Double click on staff to launch their Staff Profile.
    4. Select Security Groups.
    5. Select New Group.
    6. Select Functional Rights.
    7. Click Client Manager.
    8. Change the 'View' option to "Grant" for all.

    9. Check the "Full Rights" checkbox for each staff on their profile page.Full rights checkbox location
      • Or create a new security group and change the 'View' option to "Grant"grant option​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
