CCH® ProSystem fx® Tax Partnership and S Corporation Schedule K-2/K-3 Import and Export to / from Spreadsheet does not create a file during export or receive a file during import?

Symptoms

  • Export K-2/K-3 file to spreadsheet and nothing happens.
  • Import from valid K-2 spreadsheet file and error message appears.

Please communicate with your system administrator to contact CCH Tax Technical Software Support team at support.cch.com Support > Contact Us, to Chat with SupportOpen a Support Case, or call 1-800-739-9998, option 4, option 1, to report this issue. The Tax Technical Support agent will perform the following steps:
  1. Download the Application installer file AccessDatabaseEngine.
  2. Run the file.
  3. Complete file installation.
When the AccessDatabaseEngine file is installed, Open Partnership or S Corporation return, and Import / Export K-2/K-3 Data Spreadsheet per article 000147677.
