Question

What do the specific Client/Entity Import settings in the Manage Settings Default utility means in CCH Axcess Workflow?

Environment

  • CCH Axcess Workflow
  • Integration Settings
  • Manage Settings and Defaults

Answer

Under Client/Entity Import Settings
  1. If you select the 'I am importing clients from another system, you cannot add clients directly into CCH Axcess Workflow' option, users cannot create new CCH Axcess Workflow clients.
    • All new clients will be created through CCH Axcess Workflow Client Integration, avoiding any duplication of effort or confusion as clients are added.
  2. If you select the 'I am importing clients from another system, you cannot update the mapped fields' option, users cannot modify CCH Axcess Workflow Client information that is being synchronized through CCH Axcess Workflow Client Integration (which would overwrite those changes during the next synchronization).
  3. If you select the 'Update client/entity details from another system to all active Tasks (Completed) option, the staffing update that you made in Practice Management will apply to all active tasks of the Clients in CCH Axcess Workflow.
  4. The option 'Update Actual Hours from another system' is for Time Integration from PM to CCH Axcess Workflow.
