iQ Events list is displaying events that do not match the event criteria in the Affected Clients list.

CCH Axcess™ iQ

One of the ways to filter the iQ Events list is by Return Type. With this filter, users can narrow down the events list according to the various tax systems within CCH Axcess Tax (ie. 1040 Individual, 1041 Fiduciary). Occasionally, a tax system associated with particular event criteria displayed in the Affected Client list does not match the tax system by which the event can be filtered. This is because we wanted to go beyond what an event query may include and thereby ensure that users see the complete picture of an event and not miss events potentially tied to a return type.
