Installing to a Stand-Alone Computer

1. At the computer that you want to install the program to, double-click the PayrollSetup.exe file that you downloaded above.
2. Read the license agreement and click I Accept to continue.
3. In the Activation Code window, enter the activation code.
   • Each valid code disappears after you enter it, allowing you to enter another.
   • You need only one Unlimited License code.
4. Select Payroll Compliance Reporting, and click Next.
5. Select Standard Installation, and click Next.
   • Select the Place program shortcuts on my Desktop if you want W2/1099 Payroll Compliance icons on your Desktop.
6. When the installation is complete, select Payroll Compliance Reporting, and click Start to open the program.

Installing to a Network Server

1. Go to the computer that will act as the server.
2. Create a shared folder/directory for the Payroll Compliance software to install to.
   • The group Everyone needs Full Control. 
   • Consult your network administrator for assistance.

3. Double-click the PayrollSetup.exe file that you downloaded above.
4. Read the license agreement and click I Accept to continue.
5. In the Activation Code window, enter the activation code.
   • Each valid code disappears after you enter it, allowing you to enter another.
   • You need only one Unlimited License code.
6. Select Payroll Compliance Reporting, and click Next.
7. In the Install Options window, select Custom Installation, and click Next.
   • Select the Place program shortcuts on my Desktop if you want W2/1099 Payroll Compliance icons on the Desktop of this machine.
8. Select the shared folder/directory that you created in step 2, and click Next.
   • Make sure that the Payroll YYYY folder shows up in the install path. You can enter it into the Path box, if needed.

9. When the installation finishes, you will be prompted to restart your computer. You will need to restart the computer before using W2/1099 Payroll Compliance.
10. You are now ready to install W2/1099 Payroll Compliance to the workstations on your network.
