Steps to pair your device to the an Authenticator App and log in.

1. On your phone, download the Wolters Kluwer Authenticator, or Google Authenticator, application from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
   • What are the links to download the Wolters Kluwer Authenticator or Google Authenticator app?
2. Once you have the app installed on your phone, open Axcess Dashboard
   • Complete the 2-Step verification process if needed
3. Click User Options
4. Click Change Login Profile
5. Click 2-Step Verification Device Pairing
6. Select the desired Authenticator application to pair, and click Pair Device
   • Note: Only one Authenticator app can be paired to a user at a time
7. Choose the type of phone you have and click Continue and a window with a barcode will display
8. Based on the Authenticator app, follow the steps from the app on your smart device to pair your device
   • Wolters Kluwer Authenticator 
     1. Open the Wolters Kluwer Authenticator app
     2. Click the + sign in the top left corner
     3. Click Scan QR Code
     4. Scan the Barcode on your computer with your smart device until your it says "Added Successfully" and your computer says "Setup Complete!
     5. Your device will now show as paired and you can now complete 2-step verification using the Wolters Kluwer Authenticator
        • During the 2-Step verification process select the App Authenticator option and then click Approve from the notification on your device
   • Google Authenticator
     1. Open the Google Authenticator app
     2. Click Scan a QR code
     3. Scan the Barcode on your computer with your smart device until it says "Account Added" and then click Add Account to display a code
     4. On the barcode screen on your computer, scroll down and click on Continue
     5. Enter the code from the Google Authenticator app and click Continue
     6. Click Close when it says "Setup Complete"
     7. Your device will now show as paired and you can now complete 2-Step verification using the Google Authenticator
        • During the 2-Setup verification process select the App Authenticator option and then open the Google Authenticator app to get to get the needed code to authenticate 

To unpair your device go back to Dashboard > Users Options > Change Login Profile > 2-Step verification device pairing and select the Unpair device option under the Authenticator app that your device is paired.
