How do I produce transmittal letters for all returns using Office Manager?

There are two methods for producing a transmittal letter for all returns:

  • Input in Office Manager for all returns.
  • On a return by return basis.

To input globally for all returns using Office Manager:

  1. Open Office Manager.
  2. Click Configure Applications.
  3. Select Tax Preparation and click Configure...
  4. Choose the desired Office Group and click OK (if applicable).
  5. Select Letters and Filing Instructions and click OK.
  6. In the field titled Transmittal letter:, use the drop-down to select the desired option.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Close Office Manager.

 

Notes:

  • When making inputs in Office Manager, it is advised to close all other Tax Preparation applications.
  • Returns must be calculated for the Office Manager input to affect the return.
