How do I produce transmittal letters for all returns using Office Manager?
There are two methods for producing a transmittal letter for all returns:
- Input in Office Manager for all returns.
- On a return by return basis.
To input globally for all returns using Office Manager:
- Open Office Manager.
- Click Configure Applications.
- Select Tax Preparation and click Configure...
- Choose the desired Office Group and click OK (if applicable).
- Select Letters and Filing Instructions and click OK.
- In the field titled Transmittal letter:, use the drop-down to select the desired option.
- Click OK.
- Close Office Manager.
Notes:
- When making inputs in Office Manager, it is advised to close all other Tax Preparation applications.
- Returns must be calculated for the Office Manager input to affect the return.
