How do I turn on/off the return Status/Activity History?

  1. Open Office Manager.
  2. Click on Configure Applications > Tax Preparation > Configure.
  3. Select the appropriate office group (this feature is office group specific).
  4. Click on OK.
  5. Select History/Backup Options > Setup...
  6. Check the box to "Maintain status/activity history."
  7. Click OK > Close > Close > Close.
  8. Close Office Manager.
    • If the tax program was open when the changes were made, please close tax preparation and reopen.

Notes:

  • As the return is edited and saved, a history file will be created tracking those changes allow you to see which user modified the return. 
  • This feature is accessed within tax preparation once the return is opened select Manage > View History.
