How do I turn on/off the return Status/Activity History?
- Open Office Manager.
- Click on Configure Applications > Tax Preparation > Configure.
- Select the appropriate office group (this feature is office group specific).
- Click on OK.
- Select History/Backup Options > Setup...
- Check the box to "Maintain status/activity history."
- Click OK > Close > Close > Close.
- Close Office Manager.
- If the tax program was open when the changes were made, please close tax preparation and reopen.
Notes:
- As the return is edited and saved, a history file will be created tracking those changes allow you to see which user modified the return.
- This feature is accessed within tax preparation once the return is opened select Manage > View History.
